CAV safety benchmarking - Digital Commentary Driving

Following Reed Mobility’s work in creating a CAV standards roadmap for BSI, a key gap that was identified was safety benchmarks for CAV to provide assurance to developers, regulators and the public about the safety of CAV operations.

Reed Mobility led a pre-standardization research project, supported by Autonomous Driving Alliance, PKS Insights and WMG, to develop a concept called Digital Commentary Driving - a set of data streams that would be recorded by all CAVs operating on public roads.
